In July I had the surreal experience of recording my music live with the incredible Synchron Stage Orchestra in Vienna, as part of the Hollywood Music Workshop on video game music writing. It was my first-ever live orchestral recording, and I was blown away by the performance, the sound of that legendary hall, and the energy in the room. Our challenge: write a modular combat cue (music that adapts dynamically to gameplay), have it fully scored in just two days, then recorded with the orchestra and tested in a game engine (Wwise). ...

Here’s the video of the recording of the Lost In Hades solo from Cosmo Code’s EP “Eternal Life”, released April 24th! The setting is the control room of Ithil World Studios and behind the computer you can’t see but there’s sound engineer Giovanni Nebbia who handled the mixing of Eternal Life. As of today, the soundtrack album for the film “Dark Resurrection Volume 0” is available for download. A few days ago at Ithil World Recording Studio in Imperia, sound engineer Giovanni Nebbia handled the mastering of the tracks.
