Saturday we’re flying to my beloved SICILY :D !!!! Exactly to Monreale, near Palermo! I can’t describe the joy in knowing that after so long I’ll set foot again in my native land (even though far from Catania, but it doesn’t matter, the emotion is equally great)!
Playing alongside guitarists of the caliber of Maurizio Solieri and Cesareo is an incredibly strong emotion, and an unparalleled stimulus. There’s so much to learn! I have great admiration and respect for them! It’s with immense pleasure that I announce that I’ve joined the historic band “Custodie Cautelari”. Paolo Zanetti, their longtime guitarist, will soon be leaving on tour with Ruggeri. I had the chance to meet Paolo during an evening, but I already knew of his reputation for some time! Taking his place won’t be an easy task! Dates will always be published on the home page, starting from March 14th in Moniga del Garda (Bs)! ...
On March 29th I’ll be holding a seminar at the pantamusica school in Imperia where I’ll demonstrate some solos and rhythms and discuss some topics that I teach in the famous RLS Extreme rock guitar course by Donato Begotti. Teaching RLS over these two years has been a great source of satisfaction for me. I’ve had (and am having) the great fortune of having students with the right mentality, who approach the course with determination and grit. And after an 8-month tour de force (it’s my duty to make the course at the limit of their endurance)…they reap the rewards! ...

Yesterday at Ithil World studio in Imperia, the mixing of my new track, titled “Wings Of Dawn”, took place. The Ithil sound engineer, Giovanni Nebbia (the same one who mixed Cosmo Code’s demo), once again did an incredible job. Needless to say, I’m incredibly satisfied with the sonic impact acquired by “Wings Of Dawn” and I hope to let you hear it as soon as possible!! Your browser does not support the video tag.

Here’s my metronome for you: Click here My goal was to have a metronome always available to integrate with the “Chromatic Warm Up” library…and so, here it is!! The metronome includes some useful features such as delay settings a stopwatch (to measure practice time) the very useful function to change tempo and note grouping (sixteenth notes and triplets) without changing picking speed! Very useful to properly balance and mix the two practice modes! ...
On May 3rd at Beer Room in Pontinvrea (SV) I’ll be playing with Silent Sea…NEW LINE UP!! And not just the lineup, another big news about Silent Sea is that from now on we’ll be doing exclusively Dream Theater tribute. So get ready for an almost completely renewed setlist, and Antonio Cannoletta in great shape on vocals!
