What is ROC?
ROC (Rock Orchestration Course) is a composition and orchestration course that I structured together with Donato, starting from some of his input, and from what was my post-MCR experience! In particular, my need to express myself through composition and constantly improve this aspect that I consider to be the most important for an artist in the profound sense of the term.
Who is it for?
For all those guitarists who want to write music more consciously, and for those who want to understand more deeply the mechanisms that composers use to write and move people with their music.
What topics are covered?
Three main topics:
- Harmony
- Melody
- Orchestration

Is it necessary to already have a theory background?
We start from 0, no prerequisites: we start from the definition of semitone. This doesn’t mean it’s one of those boring harmony courses where they tell you the same things over and over. Halfway through the first lesson we already know how to effectively manage all the chords of the major and minor tonality. ROC is different, it’s structured to be effective. As I say at the beginning of my first lesson, my goal is to make you write better.
