Let me introduce my new pedalboard!

This toy was born from a dual need:

  • Sound
  • Practicality

Here’s the signal chain, between guitar and amp:

  • Korg Pitchblack Tuner
  • Dunlop Cry Baby Wah
  • Boss CS3 Compressor
  • T-rex Twin Boost Booster
  • Masotti OD Box Overdrive
  • Boss TR2 Tremolo

In the send and return loop

  • TC Electronic Nova Delay
  • Digitech Hardwire CR7 Chorus

All powered by the T-rex Fuel Tank.

In addition, there’s also the Engl Z5 footswitch to control the 4 channels of the head, and a power strip to power any other transformers (for pedals with power different from 9V or 12V).

The greatest convenience is this: everything exits with a single cable, or better yet, a snake cable containing

  • General power cable
  • Engl Z5 cable
  • 3 signal cables: input, send and return.

This allows me to open the case, connect everything to the amp and…play!!

A special mention goes to the case itself, a Rockcase 80x50, whose initial quality was very questionable: as soon as it arrived, the surface where the pedals would be placed sank about a centimeter! So with the phenomenal help of my father, we designed and built from scratch the structure in fir plywood.

Now it’s solid as concrete, with almost no increase in weight!
